Belly Button (2021)

Belly Button is an inquisition into the experience of these young people who happen to be black and finding their way in love and life. They navigate the world as belly buttons, the ignored and overshadowed center of the body as they search for love, happiness and validation in everything else but themselves. Genevieve Wright moves to Columbus to live with her boyfriend Mel, she reunites with her college friend Koku Mensah. Their untapped chemistry reels us into their journey to self realization as a love story that is not going to happen begins to unfold.
