Las Americanas (2019)

The show details the lives of two 20 something artists trying to navigate life in the city. Centering on Ma and Ash, Las Americanas is a comedic take on two friends putting their love for pop stars (Lady Gaga in particular) to good use in a city full of artists trying to "make it". Ash, an American, and Ma, hailing from Brazil find themselves in many humorous situations when sometimes their two cultural identities clash. Ushering each other through daily life, Ash and Ma are an endearing duo, exhibiting ideas of feminism, inclusion, and the artists struggle in NYC.
