The Rita Guida Show (2014)

The Rita Guida Show, created by Maria Paris, is an episodic comedy short (1-3 minute) series. Rita Guida (played by Maria Paris) is a big-hearted shoe wielding NY Mafia hit woman who tries to blend into Los Angeles while starting a bi-coastal family business. However, blending in isn't easy and she has a hard time not using her skill set to help save the day. Rita feels it is her God giving right to take the law into her own hands to help others in need and teach them how to be more like her. With the help of her therapist, Margaret, she tries to curb her mafia ways when dealing with people she finds annoying or that just don't get it. Each episode is full of hilarity with new characters and new obstacles. The show is mainly in English but offers subtitles when Italian is spoken.
