Favoriten (2024)

A portrait of the experiences and challenges faced by students between the ages of seven and ten at a school in Favoriten, one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in Vienna, Austria. The film illustrates one teacher's work to create a safe and thriving learning space to help her students cope with the difficulties of their student and private lives, portraying the classroom as a reflection of the problems of contemporary Europe.
