One at a time, a series of heroes from the American Revolution tell their story of danger, bravery and overcoming. Among others, viewers meet John Featherstone, African American Naval mariner who fought in the first sea battle in Charleston Harbor in South Carolina, Rebecca Motte, a clever, patient spy who passed information about the British General's plans while he occupied her home, a Catawba chief who fought German mercenaries with the patriots and Daniel Morgan, the wild, brilliant leader of revolutionary forces at the Battle of Cowpens. Two Scholars trade off introducing each heroic character.
