Mike, an upwardly mobile African American man relationship ends because of his hidden secrets. He begins to lose hope and limit his expectation concerning love until his friends set him up on a blind date. Mike is reluctant at first to go on the blind date in hopes of his friends forgetting all about his troubles. When the date goes right, Mike opens up about this past, which leads Mike to call the one person he thought he would never speak to again.
