Daisy Blaine, a seemingly ordinary film actress with huge dreams of becoming Hollywood's biggest movie star, moves to Los Angeles and does exactly what she's told... audition, audition, audition. When suddenly faced with a handful of #Metoo situations, discovering bad movies outnumber truly original movies, and being forced to go on an actor's strike... she uses the power of the smartphone in her hand to attempt the impossible and become her own Hollywood. As she hustles to make films using only herself, a smartphone, the spare change in her pocket and a handful of other actors, reality strikes when her subconscious manifests itself as a comic book commentary forcing her to face the fact that maybe she just can't do it all. Stuck hiding behind a passion unparalleled, Daisy embraces denial and pushes past her limitations, doing whatever it takes to see this dream to fruition even if it means sacrificing her wellbeing in the process. After coming up short and unhappy time and time again she takes her frustrations to God, her best friend and a psychiatrist. They tell her everything she doesn't want to hear but needs to hear... not only to become an extraordinary filmmaker but to become an extraordinary human being brave enough to face her ultimate truth... she's actually terrified of becoming famous.
