Haiduc (2014)

His nickname 'Haiduc' means gangster and it matches Nicu's tough character. He lives in a rough world; he ran away from home aged seven, spent years literally underground, in the sewers of Bucharest, and is addicted to drugs. Now he lives with Raluca. She keeps an eye on boys who, just like Nicu, came from the streets. With her he has a bed and is given meals. But the drugs have all but ruined his body and he has to decide: to stop or to get even worse. 'Haiduc' is about the right to be healthy and have a safe home.
