Second parts? Why not

I don't condone second parts, HOWEVER, I can't argue they did a very good job with the narrative, they introduced new characters and stories without butchering the amazing storyline Aykroyd and Ramis wrote 30 years ago.

Ticks the boxes

Better than Ghostbusters 2016? Of course!! It is a worthy sequel to 1984 and 1989. Although it uses a lot of nostalgia, it has a fairly acceptable introduction of the new characters.

I'm speechless (but for the best reason)

A work of art in lighting and cinematography, not only the DP, but also the gaffer is a genious, and the art department's work is impeccable. Add to that the brilliant performances of the cast, Mahershala Ali's alone (I die), it's just a magnificent piece of work all around, and not only did it deserve every bit of praise it got, but it also opened doors and paved the way for so many in the LGBTQIA+ and Black communities on so many levels. Just a big, fat yes.
