Evolution of an Angel

On the cusp of her high school graduation, Kali Xiang's mother is killed in the largest terror attack on U.S. soil. As a sophomore in college, she connects with a young man named Les Freeman just before her brother is killed in the continuing Middle East conflict. Les takes her under his wing and reveals himself to be a leader of The Shadows, a resistance group fighting the New World Order's plan for Global Governance. Two more major terror attacks take place in the U.S. and Martial Law is instated nationwide. Shortly after, an Inmate Labor Program is initiated and expanded with the Prisoner Conscript Army. Kali is arrested and forced into the Conscripted Service. While deployed, her entire team is killed and she is left teetering on the edge of death. She is rescued and wakes under the care of the Shadow's Master Assassin. For over two years she trains with him, leaving her old life and identity behind. Meanwhile, the Police State in the U.S. has expanded and the nation has separated from the U.N. The new global government, Government One (G-1) which encompasses all nations except for the U.S. and China, begins a civil war against its own citizens. Kali's training with Kaoshi is complete her and she is sent to lead the rebels who fight G-1 tyrannical rule. She teams up with two more Shadows who help her fully understand the terrifying reality behind G-1. Together, they devise a plan to deal a significant blow to G-1 and restore hope to the rebellion. Her mission is a success, but costs she and her friends dearly. Kali's destiny is along a harrowing path and tragedy is her companion.
