Man in the Crowd (2018)

Edgar reads the newspaper in a cafe of an unknown city, stares out at the crowd and thinks about his beautiful lover, whose name he doesn't know. Strangely drawn to a man in the cafe, Edgar decides to follow him, convinced that he is about to commit a crime, and ends up discovering a strange connection between this man, his lover and the newspaper news. Based on Edgar Allan Poe's short story The Man of the Crowd.
