Whispers

Alex's mother disappeared 10 years ago. At her 16th Birthday party her group of friends decides to help her look for her missing mother. The six teenagers decide that technology has changed over the last 10 years and the her mother must have left a digital footprint. Alex has been receiving "Whispers" from her missing mother in her dreams giving her clues to where she can be found. Alex tells her friends about the dreams and they all decide it would be better not to tell an adult about the "Whispers". They create a command post and start an investigation. Through the "Whispers" Alex discovers that her mother has been murdered. Alex and her friends investigate her mothers disappearance and murder with the information they steal from the Sheriff's Department where Alex's father, Dean is the Sheriff. They are able to solve a case that has been cold for ten years, save the Sheriff, Dean, and his Deputy, Samantha from being killed by the psychotic serial killer that killed Alex's mother.
