L'estoc (2017)

In the Poble Nou district of Barcelona, artisanal furniture is designed and produced with a unique twist at 'L'Estoc'. With the aim of pursuing a sustainable economy, they utilize recycled materials and disused objects and transform them into ingenious pieces of furniture with a striking artistic edge. Moreover, these pieces are built by a talented and dedicated team with intellectual disabilities, who are also equal shareholders in this cooperative enterprise. This documentary short follows this inspiring team through the daily challenges and triumphs of a small local business, with some great up-cycled products, and even better up-cycled ideas.
