Danguole Rasalaite (1983-2000) grew up in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania. She was abused by both her parents. In 1996 her father was sentenced to life in prison. Shortly after, Danguole and her mother moves to the small village of Ziezmariai. After a couple of months, Danguole's mother takes off for the US with her new lover. On November 17, 1999, Danguole flies to Kristianstad, Sweden, on a homemade passport, a trip financed by her new employer. At the airport she is met by a Russian man of 50. Danguole is taken to an apartment in Arlöv, outside the city of Malmö. There she is locked in a room. Her Russian employer make it clear to her that she owes him SEK 20000 for the air ticket. Which she must pay off in the flesh. As a sex-slave she is now available to any paying customer. After a couple of weeks she manages to escape. In Malmö she meet an Albanian guy of 28. Danguole moves in with him. She is used and abused. She drinks vodka to avoid having to feel what actually is happening to her. On the morning of January 7, 2000, a witness observe a young girl climb the guardrail on the bridge over highway E22 and jump.
