Andreas Vöst (1979)

It is the film adaptation of Ludwig Thomas' first novel, in which he describes the double standards in catholic Bavaria in the late 19th century. The depiction of the conflict between two families over an illegitimate child, in the course of which that of the expectant mother is ruined, shows the political situation in bavaria at that time.
