Pesn tundry (1926)

The action begins in the 1920s, when the worker Andrei, put forward for managerial work, discovered the loss of secret documents. Suspicion fell on a certain Khlystov. He was arrested, during the interrogation Andrei recognized him and told about his past. 1910s. Andrei was sent to the North, fled, but remained there and began to work with the merchant Moguchiy. Khlystov was assigned to this land. Andrei fought with them, seeing how they robbed the Sami, soldiered them and bought furs for nothing. Moguchiy's daughter Olla loved Andrei, but her father passed her off to Khlystov. Olla ran to the Sami, where Andrei found refuge. The drunken soldiers rushed in pursuit, arranged a reprisal against the Sami. In the shootout, Olla was killed.
