Roos en Rana (2001)

Roos and Rana are two friends, who both have a difficult relationship with their parents. Roos' mother is single and when she goes to work, she expects her time after time to look after her twin brothers when she is working. Rana is of Turkish origin. Especially her mother, a devoted muslima, doesn't like her associating with Roos, who she sees as a despicable person. When things get out of hand, both girls decide to secretly run away to Turkey.
