THE STORY MAN features the life journey of southern California storyteller Leslie Perry. Starting from his days in Michigan, the story follows his theatrical forays in the Bay Area during the civil rights era, where he wrote and performed important plays that dealt with societies ills, and the plight of the black man. Leslie became the ambassador of Los Angeles storytelling through his 30 years experience on stage. recently diagnosed with ALS Lou Gehrig's disease, Leslie is turning his fight for life into his greatest story of all, this is the story of THE STORY MAN.
