The Telling (2013)

Javier is a shrink who tells his disturbed patient Pandora a bad joke to break the ice. It looks like he might finally get through to Pandora when a strange man, one of the characters from the joke, walks into the room and then exits silently. Confused Javier struggles on with the therapy as piece by piece the dark world of the joke crosses over into his reality. Pandora breaks down and reveals that she is just a memory of a patient who foresaw the reality that Javier is suppressing. Pandora is actually dead and the world is in the grip of the apocalypse. Javier lies mad and feverish in a concrete bunker at the end of the world.
