Chrysanthemum to the Beast (2012)

Set in Shanghai in 1946,it is a story about a bumbling police officer Liu Meili who goes undercover in a notorious Shanghai crime gang. He falls in love with a beautiful gang member Yoyo and only manages to draw near to his objective by a combination of blind stupidity and luck.
