Talgat (2012)

Talgat is 11 years old. He lives in absolute poverty in the suburbs of Almaty, Kazakhstan, along with his 6-year old sister, Gulya. Their parents spend their time drinking, while their uncle behaves like a 5-year old. In this desolate context, Talgat feels responsible for both his sister and uncle. The three of them are like three beautiful flowers fated to grow in the "trash-heap of life."
