Hello (2018)

Hello is the result of a close collaboration between Arwin and renowned Australian Film Editor, Jill Bilcock. It is a visual portrayal of Arwin's journey from Afghanistan to Australia. During the most challenging period of his young life, Arwin makes a momentous decision, gambling with his very life in the search for freedom, peace and hopes for a better future. With his life hanging in the balance, he finds himself on a boat. Following many days with the smell of blood and fear and danger of being swallowed by the vast watery depths, Arwin experiences his own personal rites of passage and develops a new sense of maturity. The film is an intimate window into Arwin's journey in search of a truth and a new identity.
