The Kaboom Boys

A depression era twenty-something branded with a 4-F -- unwilling to become a coal miner to survive, volunteers for death duty in a newly created US Army Bomb Disposal division, rises to captain, risking his life and his men to defuse and detonate bombs across Europe in a fight against Nazi terror becoming unexpected heroes at Mont Saint Michel.
