Luigi D'Alessandro

Luigi D'Alessandro was born in Turin on September 20, 1971. He graduated from the Giulio Pastore Professional Technical Institute in Turin in 1988. Writer and poet from a young age, a vivid imagination evident in the writing of free-subject school themes. He starts as a technical assistant for a local theater company, later with partecipazioni as an extra for various film and TV production companies. In recent years he has gained experience making films such as IT'S TOO LATE short films with a social theme on homosexuality year 2013 in the role of author, screenwriter and director, car sports video reportage in year 2017 in the role of director, the documentary IN THE SHADOW OF THE TOWER 2017 also here covering roles as author and director. Then come some small roles in docu-fiction such as M EQUAL MICHELE directed by Michele Santoro for Rai, stand-in for National Geographic in THE COSMIC CONNECTOME episode, the TV series THE METAMORPHOSIS OF THE CAMORRA year 2021 by director Michele Cucciniello. Passionate about crime, horror and psychological films, following in the footsteps of his mentor and ispiratore Dario Argento, becomes the author and screenwriter of his first major film ISMAEELL THE DEMON who also sees him in the role of director in the year 2016 when shooting begins. ISMAEELL THE DEMON will be released in cinemas and on Amazon Prime USA and UK in the year 2020, as well as on the MPLC ITALY portal for screening at public events and at public and private transport companies. In the year 2021 ISMAEELL THE DEMON enters the competition at DAVID DI DONATELLO 2021 in the Italian films section. The narrative artistic flair does not stop and in the year 2021 he signed the screenplay for his next work the short film PLAY WITH ME, also with a social theme on racial integration. The seventh art is in the author's DNA which always in the year 2020 leads him to start writing the screenplay for his second cinematographic work ME AND YOU (project title), a love story. In the year 2021 the author writes the subject of the sequel to ISMAEELL THE DEMON, ISMAEELL THE DEMON 2 (project title).
