Amin Seqatchi

Amin Seqatchi, born in Iran in 1984, moved at the age of 10 from his birthplace in Mianeh situated in the Northwest of Iran, to Tehran, and very early on in his life, started writing short stories and played theatre. After studying civil engineering, he turned his focus finally to theatre and stage design, and attended the Tehran art university. Here after he completed his master in TV and film production. He has gained an immense amount of experience in the film industry, by working as a filmmaker, actor, producer, sound designer and editor, for several movies, plays and commercials, Together with Ali Taleby he co-founded in 2010, the Iranian based production firm Sheed film with focus on advertising, documentaries and short films. They parted ways, when Amin moved on to become head of advertisement for a large Iranian company. In 2017, after having worked with Nader Farahwashy for over six years, Amin joint forces with him, by founding their own independent film production firm MICROPOLIS.
