He was born in Izmir, Turkey, in 1981. After studying Radio-Tv-Cinema Department at Marmara University, he graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology Islamic History and Arts Department with his master's thesis: "Shadow Play Karagöz and Cinema". His short movies and documentaries were officially screened and won various awards in many international and national film festivals. He still studies theoretical and practical in cinema.
