Liseth Bitar Saad was born on July 31, 1980 in Bogotá, Colombia. Bitar is the daughter of Rafael Bitar, businessman and Samir's Saad, textile designer. Her family comes from Lebanon. Raised in Bogotá, she studied marketing and advertising. She worked as a model for some time before moving to New York City to study acting, her real passion, in Uta Hagen's Academy. In 2014 she had her first lead role in the horror film Expediente la Noche, playing the tittle role of Nelly Rojas a police detective investigating a disappearance. In 2016 she played the role of Nadine in the TV Series 2091 a Fox Latam production. Co- stared with Natalia Reyes, Manolo Cardona and Angie Cepeda. The same year she participated in the film Fragmentos de Amor. In 2017 she played a supporting role as a psychologist in the comedy film , De Regreso al Colegio. Bitar played opposite Carlos Aceres favorite Almodóvar's actor. The same year she co- stared with four other actresses playing Gabriela, in Still Waters Run Deep an American horror film. She played Adriana In Manual para Ninjas TV Series, also in Narcos the TV series she played as the widow of a police officer. In 2018 she played the role of Cristina in the film El Arbol Rojo. A role which earned her first award nomination for best supporting actress in the Platinos award in Spain. The same year she played the role of a teacher in the TV series Amar a Muerte. In 2019 she played the role of Andrea in the series La Ursurpadora co-staring with Sandra Echeverría. In 2020, she participated in Hasta el Fin de Los Tiempos In a small role. In 2022, she played a lead role of a prostitute in the short film Persefone co- start with Diego Calva and Itzan Escamilla. In 2021, She formed a theater company Mapa Arrugado, producing and acting in El Tiempo Tiembla as Ofelia and Elena. Since 2018 , she is based in Mexico City, speaks Spanish and fluent English.
