Marianna Bukowski

Marianna Bukowski is a director, producer and editor known for 'Portrait of a Soldier (2015)' and as an actor she is known for 'Baczynski'. Marianna Bukowski was born in Warsaw, Poland. She grew up in Sweden and studied at the Neighbourhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. She lives in London. 'Portrait of a Soldier (2015)' is Marianna Bukowski's first independent documentary film. It tells the story of the Warsaw Uprising through the experiences of Wanda Traczyk - Stawska, who as a 17 year old girl, fought as a soldier in the Polish Home Army during WWII.
