Alexandra Ekelöf began her acting career in 2016 after receiving her physical theatre diploma in Sweden. She has since worked as an actress and as a professional violinist side by side. For two years it was mostly theatre, including the one-woman performance The Ordinary Princess for which she won the Artist Favourite Award in Reykjavik in 2018. In this performance she played 30 different characters only using her voice and body for the different portrayals. Later in 2018 she filmed her first short film The Elfqueen and has been seen in a couple of short films thereafter including One of Us for which she was awarded "Best Actress" at Indie Short Awards in Cannes, New York Indie Shorts Awards, Latin America Film Awards and London Indie Film Festival. In 2019 she was also contacted by Hazelight Studios and worked with motion capture and voice for the multi awarded game It Takes Two. She has trained stage combat for many years and has diplomas in several blade weapons and unarmed combat through the Nordic Stage Fight Society. She also trained stunt together with the Swedish Stunt Agency in 2019. Alexandra Ekelöf was born in Sweden by a Swedish father and a Russian mother. Therefore, besides her native tongue Swedish (and excellent British English), she also has an excellent pronunciation in Russian and can converse in the language.
