Ivan Monti began his career as an assistant director and filming in independent cinema. He has written music for several short films and plays, including "Il vino, la zara e le pulzelle" directed by D. Eritrei which collaborated composing a song. He wrote and directed several short films, including: "Il rumore della notte", "Quando gli uomini sapevano volare", "La pioggia in fondo al cuore" e "Nei viaggi del ricordo". He participated as a performer in various films, among which we mention there's something for everyone, directed by Luciano Melchionna, where she played a tramp underground, and "Verso Orione", directed by Alessio Nencioni. Among the several plays in which he performed, we mention "Bassifondi" directed by Antonella Salvatore, and "Pene d'amor perdute" directed by Francesco Proietti.
