Sam Schmidt

Sam Schmidt was born in Cairo, Egypt, the daughter of adventurer Robert Schmidt and Abir Schmidt. She started working in the entertainment industry in ballet programs sponsored by Evelynn Ott, on stage at the Chrysler Hall, Norfolk, Virginia. She started working as a PA for Shakespeare in the Park (2014), Norfolk, and then worked on her first short film, Heartless (2014), as a Production Assistant. She got her first role in front of the camera in a season 1, episode 5 of I Dated a Psycho (2014), and later did two TV commercials for ECPI. Her paternal lineage is descended from German immigrants, while her maternal lineage are of Arab descent. While she has many hobbies, loves adventure and travel of all kinds, her biggest joys are Rock Climbing, SCUBA Diving, and writing. She is licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician, and worked in an Emergency Room, and therefore medically versed enough to play various hospital characters. Sam also has JROTC type experience, and can fit easily into various military and leadership roles. Sam Schmidt served as a summer camp counselor, Camp Towanda (2017), and enjoys guiding teens through their development. She resides in Manhattan, NY, and eagerly searching for her next adventurous roles.
