Erdinc Metin

He was born in Adana in 1965. Graduated from Ege University - Radio/Television Intermediate level English. The documentary "Tekel Atesi - The Fire of Tekel" of Gecekondu Cinema Collective that was founded by him was shown at 1st London International Worker Films Festival and 5th International Worker Films Festival in 2010. He organized a short film workshop in 2010 at Mimar Sinan University Cinema Club. He played in the short film "Metruk" by Nadir Bucan. He played also the feature film "One Thousand Wrath, One Love" by Vahid Azer. In 2012 he attended to Workshop in YAPIMLAB of Zeynep Özbatur Atakan. His unproduced script "Plan C" was considered as commendable in the same year. He was a team member of Izmir International Short Film Festival 2014-2016. He organizes workshops "Scriptwriting Through Script Knots and Sailors Knots"© In 2016; he shot two films as producer. One of them a feature documentary "Börklüce Mustafa - All Together" with Yusuf Saygi and the other one is with Ulas Bicak "About Taste of Cherry - a.k.a. Li Ser Tehma Gelyazé" the short film that was one of the finalists for "YAPIMLAB @ !f 2016: A Creative Production Workshop & Pitching Platform". In 2017, About Taste of Cherry was included official selections as Antalya Film Forum and listed some film festivals finalist as European Cinematography Awards in Warsaw. The same year; he became the representative of Volkan Budak's documentary film Wild for international platforms as festivals or film markets.
