Micah Steller

Studied International Relations (BA with Honors), and Music Composition at Victoria University of Wellington. A New Zealand born Film Director, Writer, Cinematographer, and Producer; inspired by the cinema of Tarkovsky, Bergman, and Casavettes, Steller sees cinema as an endlessly expressive art form filled with possibilities that he seeks to explore to their full potential. Always working on ideas. Improvisational, spontaneous, and limitless directional steering. Fascinated by themes such as transformation and the movement of time; analyzing complex characters and getting under their skin in ways that pushes the boundaries of cinema as an art form.
