Tasia Miller was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, to Michelle Miller and George Masengil. Her mother is African-American, and her father is multi-racial, of Mexican and Irish-Scottish decent. Tasia however was raised by her maternal Aunt Marrian Harris. In school Tasia was a star athlete, participating in track and field, cheerleading, softball and basketball. She was also enrolled in classes with the drama department all four years of high school, where she performed in the play "John Lennon and Me" fulfilling the role as the lead "Star," leaving not a dry eye in the house. Tasia's love for film and theater was born far before high school, but it was here that she knew that acting was what she was destined to do. After taking time off to go to college, Tasia was once again on her pursuit of an acting career. She attended Phoenix Film Institute, under the tutelage of Marla Finn. Tasia has been cast as the lead in a student film "The Crown of Avalon," directed by Rachel Fondren, as Jackie, a short film written and directed by Thomas Allen "Bad Rap" as Mishca ,a play written by Gwen Wright "The Lynching of Effie Childs" as Tammy, an ID Discovery docu-drama "Women in Prison Season 2 Episode 1" as Nicole, and making her debut in the 2017 feature film "Senioritis" as Ms. Hemet.
