Thanos Liberopoulos

Moving air, light, bodies, souls Combining a strong musical background and a unique approach to creating compelling images, Thanos Liberopoulos is an Athens born music video director and cinematographer. He has directed music videos for all greek major labels (Heaven, Spicy, Minos, Feelgood, etc), working with diverse Greek artists including Pavlina Voulgaraki, Pavlos Pavlidis, Lefki Simfonia, Giota Gianna as well as Stamatis Gonidis, TUS, Giorgos Tsalikis and REC. Comedy is a big love for Thanos. His collaboration with WebTv channel Comedy lab resulted in the creation of In a relationship and the series of Comedy lab songs. He has also worked as director of photography and editor for the Netwix web series iFamily and teamed up with Dionisis Atzarakis on a special episode of TV series Cinelthete. He has directed/DoP'ed/edited numerous web commercials among which some for highcalibre international brands such as Domino's Pizza, Duo, Versace and has directed videos of festivals (among others Color Day 2019 and River Party 2018) He is no stranger to theatre, as he has directed numerous trailers for major theatrical productions, including The Phantom of the Opera, Tou Koutrouli o Gamos, Talking Heads, To Ktinos sto Feggari, O Ouranos kai to Panteloni tou. The last few years he has been working as director of photography and editor for short films and documentaries (A time of Monsters, Plan[t], A sealed idea, Portraits, Chechov's Gun) and in January 2019 he shot his first short film, Dunyam: A documentary about a Kurdish political refugee in Greece, currently screened in festivals around Greece (Peloponisos, Chalkida, Ierapetra). All his personal and team projects are being made under the Taleban Productions Company roof, founded in 2017 in Athens.
