Fabian Lord

Fabian Edward John Lord was born on April 30, 1975 in Manchester, England. His father John Lord was the managing director of the family business, textiles. Fabian attended senior school at The Manchester Grammar School in Manchester, England. He later studied to Masters degree level at 2 UK universities. He had a variety of jobs before becoming an actor, publicist and managing director of an independent TV production company. Trained by UK Special Forces, Fabian has a background in the British military and amassed experience in law enforcement spanning 2 police forces. As a detective and a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit he investigated murders, human traffickers, live kidnappings, terrorists, robberies and shootings. Fabian has worked on some of the UK's highest profile national security investigations and even advised the U.K. government over the regulation of the private security industry. Fabian has a diverse career portfolio including employment as a Training Manager for a multi-national company with 6,000 employees and as an HR Manager, being chartered in Human Resources Management. After a 2009 closed-door meeting in the USA discussing strategy with someone who worked on the social media aspects of President Obama's first campaign, Fabian amassed a wealth of experience in dealing with both online & offline PR & marketing strategies, developing contacts in the media. Whilst working on the News of The World Phone Hacking investigation for some well-known clients, Fabian also released a book related to Social Media intelligence which became a No.1 Amazon bestseller in 2011. Following on from these experiences, he chose to come out from behind the camera to take centre stage on screen in the new TV series, Surveillance Secrets (2019). Fabian continues motivational speaking on stage around the world on the topics of Marketing and Brand Awareness. Fabian was awarded Freedom of the City of London in 1998 and granted a personal Coat of Arms by the Queen in 2003. In his spare time, he enjoys flying, heraldry and family activities with his son Montgomery-Everard and wife Marie Gooljar.
