Nathan grew up building forts and playing slingshot wars around the farmlands of Northern Illinois in the small town of Johnsburg. After graduating high school, he heeded the call to "Go West, young man" and settled in Colorado where he utilized his high school and collegiate journalism background to launch his career in entertainment television. From a young age, he was influenced heavily by the power of storytelling entertainment-after watching "X-Files" Nathan wanted to become an FBI agent; "Jurassic Park" made him research a genetic engineer career; "Indiana Jones" spurred an inner desire to become a maverick archaeologist. Thankfully, his career choosing ADD found an outlet through immersing himself in different worlds to passionately tell creative stories. Over the years, he's worked on a variety of TV series including History Channel's Mountain Men; Animal Planet's Fish or Die; Food Network's Unwrapped; Travel Channel's Making Monsters; HGTV's Log Cabin Living, Mountain Life and Beach Hunters; as well as Outdoor Channel's Duck Commander and Buck Commander.
