Nick P. Coe

The first step into filmmaking was in 1989 with the short 'Captain Blobkiller...' - not a film that would make people stop and think, but a valuable contribution to the world of low-budget production! A string of shorts, documentaries, commercials and pop promos were to follow before things started to get a little more focused. Nick decided on an almost masochistic career as an independent film producer. The year 2000 saw 'Holiday with George' released to critical acclaim in UK and Europe. The following year saw 'Contranatura' released, again with critical acclaim. 2003 saw Nick team up with German cult director Wolfgang Buld for the successful black comedy feature 'Penetration Angst'. After its success, Nick and Wolfgang teamed up again to release 'Lovesick: Sick Love' in 2004. Nick also edits when pickings are slim. His showreel for promos and commercials show a very fast pace and an appreciation to both music and narrative. His work can also be seen on several DVD EPK's that are currentyl doing the rounds.
