Rand Gamble was born and raised in the sleepy enclave of Santa Barbara, California called Los Olivos. In a town full of farms, horse ranches and wide-open spaces, he was a dreamer that showed an early affinity for moving images, music and storytelling. At the suggestion of one of his mentors, Dwight Werle Weaton, a film teacher, Rand began taking acting classes. He continued to hone his craft under the tutelage of Richard Brander, Kevin Costner's acting coach. From here, Rand decided to devote his time fully to acting. After working on several independent films in the Santa Barbara area, Rand packed up and headed to Los Angeles where he immediately landed commercial and more independent film roles. After two years in Los Angeles, Rand was offered the opportunity to star in an international feature film shot entirely in Nigeria called 'Child of Destiny.' His most recent film credits include 'Death Ride,' directed by Junichi Suzuki and starring Japan's Hinano Yoshikawa. When he's not on-set or developing film projects, Rand spends his spare time hiking, water skiing, horseback riding and spending time with his family (and his dog Charlie). Rand's future plans include continuing to develop his craft while also pursuing his dream of filling the seat behind the camera.
