Edo received a few offers from record companies and decides to sign with Menart, which he is part of to this day. His first album ''Slusaj mater'' (Listen to your ''Mother'', which is a play on word in his name Maajka, which means mother, as a sign of respect) became a commercial and critical hit. He received numerous awards including artists of the year, album for the year and single of the year, of which album for the year was the first time a hip hop album received that award, thus establishing his dominance as the best hip hop star in that region, which include Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Macedonia. Because of his success he became very sought after for interviews, tv series and other endorsements. He followed his success with his second alum ''No Sikiriki'' (No Worries) in 2004, which also was a huge success. After that he toured while assembling a band, later known as Trnokop. In 2010, Edo released a compilation album entitled ''Spomen ploca 2002-2009'', which featured music from his band over lyrics of his songs from his previous albums. In November 2011, Edo announced that his 5th studio album will be released in march 2012.
