Joni Thissen

Joni entered the world of the creative arts at 10 years old, creating movies with her Super-8 film camera she earned from doing chores. She continued this love for the arts in college as she dove into filmmaking and writing courses, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in English/Creative Writing. Joni has worked on numerous independent projects, as well as for larger companies such as: Walt Disney, ABC Television, Dreamworks, PBS, and CW Television. Her experiences include movies, television, documentaries, commercials, and promotional videos. She is an award-winning filmmaker who takes pride in being a part of the creative process; managing talent and crew, working with creative teams (also as a writer/producer herself), and overseeing productions from start to finish. Joni resides in Los Angeles and continues to work in film/television in various facets.
