Sean Connolly

Sean Connolly partnered with producers Roy Lee (Lego, the Departed, the Ring) and Ed Kashiba (G-Force, Station), to form the first successful screenplay reading company, Scriptshark.com, which ultimately closed down in November 2016. His career started at United Talent Agency where for over two years he became keeper of the UTA joblist and assistant to motion picture partner David Kramer. A life twist took him to Indiana where he earned graduate degrees in digital business design and media research, while teaching screenwriting and entertainment business classes at Indiana University. He's writing a book on his masters thesis, which finds correlations between global box office results and the presence of mythic story tropes from Joseph Campbell's original Hero of a Thousand Faces (as many in the American big budget industry would suspect). His thesis was one of the most downloaded academic documents of 2015-2016.
