Charly Nestor

Charly Nestor was born April 10th, 1965 and lives in Miami. He is married and has 2 children. He grew up in Gonesse (quartier de la Madeleine) where he studied at the Philippe Auguste middle school before entering the Gonesse High school. Charly Nestor's background is from the West Indies. He is a French TV presenter and producer. With his accomplice Jean-Marc Lubin, they form the duo Charly et Lulu for many entertaining TV shows (including Hit Machine). Nestor is also a producer and a director. In 1987, he entered the TV world for which he grew a passion by working for TF1 with GLEM. In 1988, it's the beginning of six years with Coyote, Christophe Dechavanne's production company where he is the "chauffeur de salle" for "Ciel! mon mardi" and "Coucou c'est nous!" before becoming a regular on the show. That's where he met the exuberant Jean-Marc Lubin (Lulu). 1994 marked the end of Coucou and the beginning for the duo who with the company of Maureen Dor created "Chalu Maureen": a program for youth on France 2. In 1995, "Charly et Lulu" moved to M6 for 13 years of "Hit Machine". He became program director of Canal Web in 2001. His life in Florida contrains him to round trips between Paris and Miami where he produced French artists' shows in America. He produces different artists, programs, and events. He directed short films and music videos. In 2009 he started a TV channel in the USA: "My rendez-vous TV" is a French speaking channel, offering a program selection from M6, Direct 8 or Paris Premiere.
