Ivo Návrat

Ivo Navrat is a contemporary Czech visual artist and Film Set Designer and Art Director. He was born on May 4, 1976, in Dacice, Czechoslovakia, and currently lives in Telc in the Vysocina region. From 1994 to 1996 he studied at the Secondary School of Graphic Arts in Jihlava and in 1996 he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he graduated in 2002 in the drawing studio of prof. Jitka Svobodova and prof. Jiri Petrbok. Since 2003 he has been working as a teacher at SUSG in Jihlava as a professional leading teacher for the field of classical art and multimedia. Ivo Navrat specializes in many art professions, such as image creation, multimedia, design, architecture, and importantly, film. He has made several realizations for private productions, Czech feature films such as The Smiles of Sad Men, Stockholm Syndrome, Unknown Hour, Close to Heaven, and other projects for the Czech Television.
