Charlie Spillers is an American actor who was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and began acting from a very early age. He was in drama throughout high school and went on to study acting at the university level. He did his undergraduate work at the Florida State University, where he had the opportunity to study acting both in the Tallahassee and London campuses. In London, he worked with teachers from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art as well as the Central School of Speech and Drama. His work in undergrad would eventually push him to work at the graduate level as well. In 2015, Charlie was accepted into the Masters program at the nationally-ranked University of Missouri in Kansas City, where he continued his studies in acting, focusing on the teachings of Stella Adler, Morris Carnovsky, Phoebe Brand, Sanford Meisner, and Kristin Linklater. It is at UMKC where Charlie began a career in teaching as well. Between his undergraduate and his graduate years, Charlie lived in Los Angeles where he worked in film and TV. There, he appeared in select TV shows and commercials, and continued theatre as well, appearing in such shows as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Between his time in L.A. and his time in Kansas City, Charlie holds membership in SAG-AFTRA as well as AEA. Charlie now resides in New York City with his French Bulldog, Mikey.
