Eleonora Dimakos

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Greek parents, Eleonora "Nora" Dimakos is a seasoned model, actress, journalist, makeup artist, esthetician, and spa manager. Both a high academic achiever and a creative and talented artist from a young age, Eleonora was often encouraged by those in academia to abandon the arts in lieu of furthering her intellectual prowess. Despite focusing on her academic studies, Eleonora immersed herself in creativity and expression. She frequently entered and won competitions in drawing, poetry, and public speaking throughout elementary and high school. She later on gave serious consideration to a career in Law, but instead opted for studying Communication Arts. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University with degrees in Communication & Media Studies, Psychology, and Marketing, and from Seneca College with an Honours diploma in Radio & Television Broadcast Journalism. Eleonora subsequently joined the First Local news team in Mississauga, Ontario as Entertainment Anchor and Live Eye Reporter. While studying acting at George Brown College, Eleonora was discovered by Next Models. After experiencing her first professional photo shoot, she developed a heightened interested in makeup art and enrolled in makeup artistry programs. She graduated at the top of her class and went on to manage Cosmetics Counters at Holt Renfrew, and Cosmetics Departments and the Beauty Boutique at Shoppers Drug Mart. Eleonora concurrently furthered her industry studies and added Spa Esthetics to her education roster. After a 13 year tenure in Beauty Retail, she moved on to focus her craft on her makeup art, esthetics, and spa business, ACE in FACE.
