Shawn Smolensky

Shawn Smolensky joined Industrial Light & Magic in the summer of 2012, shortly after the studio first opened its doors in Vancouver. He started out as a Production Assistant and is now in production leadership roles in short-format content, as well as animation and heavy visual effects features. An aspiring actor in his youth, including a stint at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York, Smolensky completed a Bachelors of Economics from the University of Victoria only to return to the entertainment industry.
