Nigel Collins is an actor born and raised in the city of St. John's, Newfoundland. He was born in July of 1997 to parents, Brenda and Peter. He began his acting career at the age of five years old performing scenes of many different plays at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre basement theatre. His roles ranged from Peter Pan, Spider-Man and Uncle Fester in an Addams Family production. His big break came in 2009 when he was given the part for Sammy in the short film 'Down to the Wood', directed by Kelly Davis, which was released at the 2009 St. John's international Women's Film Festival. In 2010, Nigel received the role of Tom, a young boy of mother, May, in the play 'Coming To' which was performed at the Arts and Culture Centre. His most recent work was in 2014 playing as an extra in the Newfoundland Independent Film Company (NIFCO) production called 'Cancer Girl' which is set to be released late 2014, early 2015. Collins, being the actor he's been for nearly his whole life, has done some light production for a play that was performed at the LSPU hall in St. John's. His light direction has won him two awards with this play. The play is called 'The case of Alex Hansen'.
