Bilal Athimni

Bilal Athimni is an award winning Tunisian director, producer and screenwriter. He is the owner of the production company "Zoneart Films" in Tunisia, North Africa. Athimni is specialized in International Co-productions between Europe, Asia and Africa. His films won important national and international prizes like the 1st prize for best newcomer documentary for his film "Truth" in 2012 in competition at the IFF Teheran, Prize of the Jury 2016 at the International human-rights-Award Morocco. Also he won prizes in North and central America like the 1st prize for "Best feature fiction" at international Best of the best competition, Los Angeles, USA, and the Palm Bronze Award of the Mexico International Film Festival, both awards for his latest film "A Part of Me". The African Premiere of his film "A Part of me" takes place in the JCC Carthage Film Festival 2018.
