"You need to love the villain as much as the hero if you want to have a great story." Andrew Scott, born in Dublin, Ireland, began his acting career studying drama at Trinity College. He made his name at the age of 17 with a pivotal role in the acclaimed Irish film "Korea" (1995) and appeared on screen in "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), "Nora" (2000) and "My Life at the Movies" (2004). Scott made his mark on Broadway with David Hare's "The Vertical Hour," directed by Sam Mendes, which was followed by his acclaimed performance in "Cock" at The Royal Court in late 2009, for which he received accolades including an Olivier Award in 2010.
